About Eric Bigham FCCA

Eric Bigham FCCA is a Chartered Accountant and senior finance transformation advisor who works with founders, CFOs, boards, and investors on complex, high-stakes financial challenges.

He is typically engaged when organisations need clarity under pressure: underperforming finance functions, investor scrutiny, liquidity or value-creation challenges, or the need to translate strategy into robust, decision-ready financial insight. His work spans CFO diagnostics, strategic financial planning and modelling, enterprise performance management, and finance-led transformation.

Eric brings over 30 years of experience across audit, industry, banking, and top-tier consulting environments. He has led C-suite engagements for organisations including Deutsche Bank Global Markets, Barclays Wealth, Standard Life, and RBS, where he served as Interim Head of Finance for Large Corporate Banking.

Before founding Bigham Consulting, Eric held senior consulting roles at Accenture, leading CFO-level Finance & Performance Management transformations across banking, telecommunications, and utilities. His work has supported organisations undergoing growth, restructuring, regulatory pressure, and post-M&A integration.

A defining feature of Eric’s approach is his ability to bridge strategy and execution. His background spans advanced financial modelling, performance management, governance design, and hands-on delivery, ensuring recommendations are both rigorous and implementable.

Eric trained in audit and advisory practice, delivering over 100 engagements across commercial, regulated, and not-for-profit organisations. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a graduate with Distinction from Kingston University.

He works with leaders who value independent judgement, intellectual rigour, and practical outcomes.
